At ReelPull, we respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This policy explains how we handle your information when you use our mobile application and website.

1. Data We Collect

We collect information to provide a better experience, including:

• Account Information: Your name, email, and profile picture provided during Google or Instagram authentication.
• Shared Content: Reel URLs and metadata that you explicitly share with our app or our official Instagram DM account.
• Device Information: FCM tokens for sending you notifications when your extractions are ready.

2. How We Use Your Data

Your data is used solely to:

• Process and extract metadata from the Reels you share.
• Provide AI-generated summaries and insights.
• Synchronize your "Saves" across devices.
• Notify you via push notifications for background jobs.

3. Instagram Integration

When you link your Instagram account, we only access your public username and basic profile information to verify your identity. We do not have access to your Instagram password or private messages, other than those explicitly sent to the ReelPull official account for processing.

4. Data Retention

We store your saved reels and account information only as long as your account is active. You may delete your data or account at any time within the application settings.

5. Third-Party Services

We use Supabase for database management and Firebase for push notifications. Each service has its own privacy standards in compliance with modern data protection laws.
